A society is essentially a social group that has been formed by individuals with similar objectives. This can be done by forming a club, association or partnership. Proper protocols will have to be observed while creating the society however and it will need to be registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs under the Registry Of Society (ROS) of Singapore. This is important in order to ensure that the society is not used for unlawful purposes and is governed fairly.
